Pilates 1:1, 2:1 and Small Group Tuition

Pilates Spine Curl Exercise
Spine Curl Exercise
One-to-one sessions are a good introduction to Pilates if you can’t make the Feeder Courses, or if you would prefer more personal attention. The cost of a one- to-one session is £40 per person for one hour.

We can also arrange small  group sessions, either with you and your friends/family/partner etc. The cost depends on the numbers, 2:1 is £50, 3:1 and up to 6 people is£20  per head, 7 people or more £15 per head.

Sometimes a few people who want to  start Pilates contact us around the same time. If this happens we will contact  you all, and offer you the possibility of a small group session, which brings the cost down for you.

These one-to-one and small group sessions are only available at the Northampton Pilates Studio and only during the day Monday to Friday usually between 11am and 5pm as we have classes running from up to 10.45 or later on some days and from 6pm in the eveings.

Occasionally we can do a weekend but again we have classes running up to 12.30 each Saturday.  We will try and do lunch hours or late afternoon if that helps those at work, but it depends on our daily class schedule and other current work committments.

The length of time it will  take before you are ready to join a regular class varies. It will depend on your fitness level and how quickly you pick up the principles of Pilates.

It is up to you to decide whether you would like private tuition by itself, alongside regular classes, or as a way of moving between feeder classes and regular classes. You can also decide whether you want to concentrate on mat work, combine mat work and equipment or stick to using just equipment.

The advantage of combining mat work and equipment is that you can continue to learn at home, especially useful if you have been injured.
