HOW DO I START PILATES?
To join our regular weekly classes you need to either
Book and join the next available feeder course (go to Beginners Courses page)
or
Book private tuition, (go to 1:1 Tuition page)
probably 2/3 or 4 sessions depending on how quickly you learn.
This ensures you learn the terminology we use, some of the basic exercises and the pilates principles. That way you can work at home for 5 or 10 mins a day and get the most out of your session at the studio. We don't run drop in class, all classes are pre booked and pre paid.
However we do run a swop board, which works brilliantly for clients to offer class spaces that they know they cannot do, then take a session another day that someone else has offered. Its on the website so you can do it from home or work and there is a paper version at the studio as well for those who don't have internet..there are still some out there.

"I decided to try Pilates after being told it was good for horseriders, developing core strength, balance and coordination all three of which are essential for horseriding. I picked Pilates Face and Body because it seemed to be more specialised than classes in the village hall! I haven't been disappointed.
One year on I still enjoy every session and have noticed definite benefits for not only my horseriding but also throughout my daily life. I spend a lot of time sat at a desk working on a computer and have become noticeably more aware of my posture.
The instructors seem to be genuinely interested in helping me as an individual, not just teaching at the front of a class."
