BEGINNERS PILATES COURSES - WE CALL THEM FEEDER COURSES
Pilates exercises are built around 8 principles. It is important to learn what these principles are and how to apply them to the exercises. Once you have done this you will be more body aware, and it will be safe for you to join one of the regular classes.
We have been running beginners courses, know as feeder classes for several years now. They are a popular way to learn and understand the basics, before continuing to practice Pilates in one of our regular classes.
The cost of a Feeder Course is £50 per person for 5 weeks. This is payable in advance and there are no refunds for missed sessions.
Each session last 90 minutes. Some people do miss a session without it impacting on their progress, however if you expect to miss more than one or the crucial first session, we would suggest you delay your attendance until the next available course.
You do not need any special equipment or clothing to participate in a Feeder Course, just wear loose comfortable clothing - no jeans or belts! If you wear shorts..please don't wear baggy ones, you may well reveal more than you (or others) would like! Or wear lycra running shorts underneath as the cricketers do.
RUSHDEN CLASSES - we have 6 regular weekly classes running in Rushen, contact Karen if you want to join these classes and we can advise on how and when.
NORTHAMPTON STUDIO FEEDER COURSE DATES
Do bear in mind we only have 12 spaces in all our classes, so our Feeder courses book up quickly, you can go on the list for a cancellation but it is wise to put your name down for the next available just in case nothing comes up.

Fun and enjoyable, Northants Pilates provides small classes and expert tuition which together have helped to keep me fit and supple as I enter my sixties and lessen the effects of the lower back pain I tend to experience when gardening etc. Thanks to Karen, I am now much more aware of posture and movement and try to incorporate Pilates into my everyday fitness regime. You're only as young as your spine will allow you to be.........keep old age at bay (bone by bone).............. Pilates is for life!
