Classes are limited to 12 so what ever your level of fitness or expereince we can vary the level of difficutly for everyone attending. Dont worry that you won't be pushed or that it will be too difficult. We have years of experience at working everyone in each class to the level they need, not the level of the class. All exercises are broken down to enable everyone to fully understand the method and be able to perform the exercise with precision and control.
This is especially important for those with chronic back problems; these will become the building blocks to greater control of your back pain.
If you have done Pilates before, please speak to Karen who will assess your suitability for our classes, depending on where you have done Pilates before and for how long. Not all Pilates teachers are the same.
The classes run in 6 blocks throughout the year, usually following the state school term timetable. All classes are pre-booked and pre-paid, we don’t run drop in classes. However we do run a swop board online where you can make up classes you know will miss due to meetings or holidays etc. as there are no refunds for missed sessions.
Everything you need is provided by us, the only thing you need to do is turn up.
"Since starting Jan class, I can't believe what a difference it has made. I used to visit the osteopath approx once a week but since having regular classes, the last time I went was over 6 months ago! Also the classes are fun, informative and relaxing. Jan is a total joy and always gives us a giggle during her lessons. She also explains why we do things which are so good as previous teachers I have had, haven't done that and it can be quite demoralising when you do something without knowing what is the benefit.
I would recommend these classes to anyone no matter what sex or age.
Thanks for all you have done"
