The Foam Roller pictured above is a great fitness tool. Firstly, you can use it to challenge stability; even the most basic curl up is harder when lying on one. You have to recruit so many more muscles to workout effectively and this really raises the ceiling for your core potential. Secondly, the rollers are great for self massage, you can ease tension to improve mobility and flexibility. The rollers can be used for muscle and myofascial release work.
Core Thirty 30 - (Foam Roller and Matwork Combined)
This class is a 30/30 split between exercise and massage. Work your core ruthlessly then massage to relax and restore those muscles, as well as any other trouble spots. If you have your own roller that you prefer, can bring it along. We use the long rollers, not the studded trigger point rollers as those are good for massage but not much else.
WHAT TO WEAR..an important note. Wear clothes that don't leave you exposed like loose tops, or really baggy shorts. They can also get caught in the roller when massaging. If you have long hair, you'll want to tie it up.

Book one session at a time or purchase class bundles to use over the holiday. Just for this summer break, buy 4 Mat or Special class credits and get a 5th for FREE!

Choose a class then buy yourself a class credit, or a whole package. Credits must be used by August 19th, (they don't carry over to the next term) you can cancel out of a class with 24 hours notice. If we have to cancel a class we will credit your online account so you can book another session.
