HRT yes or No

Dr. Naomi Potter

What else can help us? Are there alternatives? Here is your opportunity to find out.

If you want the low down on HRT and all that it means, join us on this webinar on Wednesday evening.

It's not just night sweats and hot flushes but so much more, foggy brain, aching joints, feeling of not being able to cope. Add to that the media obsession with anything sensational getting in the way of facts and you can see that finding the out the risks or benefits for using HRT can be tricky.

In the last few years having done a fair bit of work on exercise with osteoporosis and finding people who work in this field I personally feel that we really do have to change our attitude to the menopause, peri menopause and also preparing young women for what is coming ahead in a positive way.

As with all areas of medicine, much has changed but the NHS is not really the place to find the most up to date treatments. I am not criticising or complaining here, it's just got a lot to cope with.

This is your chance to get your questions answered by someone who has worked in this area and made it her speciality.

Dr. Naomi Potter is a GP with specialist interest in Menopause care, she has a wealth of experience in treating women at her NHS practice and also under the mentorship of Mr Nick Panay former Chair of the British Menopause Society and current secretary of the International Menopause association with whom she still works with.

She also has experience in treating the menopause in the context of other health problems such as mental health issues, cardiovascular problems, metabolic issues, diabetes, high blood pressure, gynaecological conditions for example can all affect and be affected by the menopause.
