Pregnancy, Postnatal and Pelvic Health

Not all pregnancies are a breeze and not all births go to plan. What happens if that’s you and where do you go for help?

If you are pregnant or hoping to be, or have had your bundle of joy but perhaps things are not quite back to normal..if this is the case... where do you go for help?

  • What if your tummy muscles don't get back to where they are supposed to (Diastasis Recti)
  • what is safe to do?
  • Are there things you should avoid?

  • Are you suffering with stress incontinence

  • pelvic girdle pain
  • does the thought of intercourse worry you?

All these things are common - you won't be alone, but they do need to be addressed to get you back to good health.

Join us for our next NP Health Webinar with women's health specialist physiotherapist Thea Jackson who is passionate about helping women at all stages of life on Thursday 1st April at 7pm. (Recorded if you can't make this date.)

Thea will be talking about all these areas of women's health during pregnancy and post birth and what can be done to help improve things.

If you have questions you can ask them privately so no one need know who is asking.

Thea started off as a musculoskeletal physio and decided she wanted to do something more specialised and ended up being a pelvic health research associate physio working mainly with army service women, her research aimed at helping them return to fitness and exercise safely after giving birth. Thea currently works with the lovely team at Move4physio in Courteenhall. If you need a women's specialist physio, look no further, Thea works with all women at any time of life from birth to menopause and everyhthing in between.
